Highlights
The Waterview Pines in Virginia has been serving communities on the Iron Range since it opened in 1967.
The Waterview Pines has had a few different owners over the years, but what remains constant is the commitment to give the residents the best possible stay, whether they are with us for long-term care or in our Transitional Care Unit helping them to heal and recover, so they can get back to life’s adventures.
Residents in our Transitional Care Unit enter as guests and leave as friends. This unit is designed to bridge the gap from hospital to home after an injury or illness.
Care Services
The Waterview Pines takes pride in providing individualized, compassionate care to all of our residents. Our community is located in Virginia, Minnesota, and we offer a full continuum of care. In addition to offering quality long-term care, we provide short-term rehabilitation to those who are recovering from an illness, injury, or surgery.
Activities
Our Therapeutic Recreation department is staffed by a group of fun-loving staff who provide a wide range of activities, including spiritual programming, spiritual visits, pet visits, live music and entertainment, social events, physical activities, Bingo and more games. They also provide engaging and mentally-stimulation programs, including individualized one-on-one visits and more.
We encourage residents to continue to interact with the community at large so we bring in entertainers, church services, etc. And of course you will not want to miss out on our Activity Van outings. Our van driver makes several trips a week to places like restaurants, casinos, stores for shopping, and community events.
