Looking for a Volunteer Opportunity?

We are currently adding volunteers to fill many important roles, including but not limited to, those listed below.

Bingo Assistant - Mondays 6:15 - 7:45 pm and/or Saturdays 1:45 - 3:15 pm

Remind interested players to come to Bingo. Assist players who are in wheelchairs to the Bingo area and back to their rooms afterward. Aid residents who have difficulty in covering called numbers. Verify winning numbers. Give out prizes to winners.

Nail Polisher - 3 hours every other week

Provide a relaxing pampering experience. Filing/shaping nails (no clipping required), soaking hands, apply lotion, remove existing polish, apply new polish. Use best practices for safety and sanitation.  

Personal Companion - 2 hours per week

Offer resident support and companionship by building a trusting relationship with a resident. This is a one-to-one opportunity that is resident-driven. The resident may wish to engage in conversation, games, activities, walks, or may ask for help with household tasks such as tidying up their living space.

Volunteer Beauty Shop Assistant - Tuesdays 8:30 - 10:30 am

Our residents love the special social and pampering time that the Tuesday morning beauty shop provides. Positions are available to wash, set, and style hair.    

Worship Assistant - Sundays 1:30 - 3:15 pm

Set out the microphone for worship leaders. Remind those interested to come to worship. Assist residents who are in wheelchairs to the Chapel and back to their rooms afterward. Hand out bulletins, sheet music, and assist with offering during worship.
