Bethany on the Lake takes pride in providing individualized, compassionate care to all our residents. Our community is located in Alexandria, Minnesota, and we offer a full continuum of care. In addition to offering quality long-term care, we provide short-term rehabilitation to those who are recovering from an illness, injury or surgery, as well as care for those in the intermediate and late stages of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
Residents of our Memory Care Unit will experience a beautifully designed and secure area that helps manage the degenerative declines associated with dementia, and maintain cognitive and physical functionality, so the individual can live with respect and dignity.
An additional service offered on campus is Adult Day Services. This program provides the opportunity for seniors to enjoy socialization, exercise, activities, and delicious meals during the day. Members of this program continue to live in their home, spending the day at the Bethany campus. Often this additional stimulation, strength building, and socialization allows individuals to live at home stronger and longer. This program is the only registered Adult Day Service within the 50-mile radius.
Our top-notch Therapeutic Recreation team provides fun and intergenerational programming to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of every individual under our care. Our residents are encouraged to enjoy the outdoors in our garden or participate in activities such as spiritual services, Bingo, and daily programming.
