Leah Novelan
Associate Administrator
Leah has been at The Waterview Woods since November of 2021. She was inspired to start her journey in healthcare at the age of 13 when she met the hospice nurses that were taking care of her grandpa. After seeing their compassion and kindness, she decided she wanted to become a nurse. She received her CNA at 17 and then pursued her LPN in 2016 and worked in an OB department for little over 5 years. She went back to school and fast tracked her bachelor’s degree in health management from the U of M Crookston. She is on the path to obtaining her Long-Term Care Administrator Licensure. Leah has always loved helping people and couldn’t see herself in any other field.
Megan Highland
Director of Nursing
Megan has been a nurse for over 5 years. Her main focus has been in long-term and acute care in which she has gained an abundance of experience over the years. Megan’s passion for long-term care comes from her belief that the elderly deserve the very best nursing teams to care for them as they have been providing care to so many generations for so long. When she’s not at work, she spends every day with her 3-year-old daughter, Maja, who is her entire world.
