Our top-notch Therapeutic Recreation team provides fun and interactive programming to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of every individual under our care. Our residents are encouraged to enjoy the outdoors on our courtyard and patio area and participate in daily activities such as spiritual services, social events, animal therapy, physical activities and many more meaningful activities. We also stay active in our community with the Chamber of Commerce events.
Mala Strana takes pride in providing individualized, compassionate care to all of our residents. In addition to offering quality long-term care, we provide short-term rehabilitation to those who are recovering from an illness, injury or surgery. We offer an experienced team of nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists that will create an individualized plan to promote strength and recovery. Our Assisted Living staff customize assistance and wellness programs to meet the individual needs of our tenants. We offer all of this in a quiet, comfortable setting.
Our team is serious about getting you home safely, as quickly as you desire. Discharge goals and planning begin upon admission. We hold care plan meetings with the interdisciplinary staff to discuss progress and arrange home care services prior to discharge, to ensure a smooth transition home. We also do a discharge follow-up to ensure you are successful at home.
