We provide you with confidence in obtaining healthy nutrition daily during your stay. We have extensive a la carte menus – you choose what you want to eat. Specialized diets also available and many nutritious menu choices for healthy living. We have a spacious dining room and friendly staff and atmosphere for a high-quality dining experience. We also provide an afternoon social hour snack time.
We provide engaging entertainment during your stay. The Beacon at Mapleton is a proud supporter of many community events. We offer a variety of choices for activities throughout the week. Activities include socialization and outings, planned events and parties for families and friends, picnics, shopping trips to Mankato, lunch out on the town, and more! We have great support from area churches who offer weekly devotions, Bible study, and individual prayer. We also stay active in Chamber of Commerce/Community events.
Although we do not offer our own in-house therapy, we work diligently with primary care physicians to ensure optimum health. The Beacon at Mapleton’s staff communicates with your primary to obtain orders for out patient therapy if needed. Our team works closely with outside therapy services to ensure continued care to assist in returning health back to baseline conditions.
Rest assured you have an expert clinical team to care for you. The Beacon at Mapleton’s primary nurse is available for all concerns Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm with on-call nursing services available 24/7 to ensure concerns are addressed and your needs are being met.
Continue to see your own physician or have the convenience of the physician team coming to you while in the facility! We have a partnership with Bluestone Vista which is part of the Mankato Clinic. Bluestone rounds monthly on-site and our nursing team has access 24/7 to a provider through the Bluestone Bridge. Ask more today!
The Beacon at Mapleton offers on-site, in-house services for podiatry care. In-House Senior Services is contracted with The Beacon to come directly to our site every 9-10 weeks to provide professional podiatry care.
Whether your stay here is a short term respite stay or we have the pleasure to assist you in long term placement, The Beacon’s nursing team will ensure your needs are met and plans for the future are carried through. Upon admission, our team will inquire about your desires regarding your stay, including obtaining a health care directive. Many of our tenants come to The Beacon with memory impairment and often remain with us long-term. We discuss options moving forward to ensure you can remain where you would like, with the comforts you desire. The Beacon staff work with area Hospice groups to ensure the comforts you desire are carried out and you can remain at home at The Beacon.
