About Memory Care

The Estates at St. Louis Park proudly serves our senior population with compassion, especially those living with dementia.

According to Alzheimer’s Association, 5.8 Million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer’s dementia. Each individual and their families lives with this disease in their own unique way. Unfortunately, the disease can take away our loved one’s ability to be safe in their own home. That is why Monarch Healthcare Management is proud to offer safe and secured Memory Care Support Units.

Memory Care Support Units are designed with the safety of the individual in mind. Entrances to the units are secured to prevent issues commonly associated with dementia such as wandering or unsafe exit seeking. Layouts are designed with resident needs in mind, promoting a calming environment.

Staff are specialty trained in techniques such as validation, redirection, and reminiscing to make the most comfortable environment for your loved one. Nursing, Therapeutic Recreation, Social Services, and Dietary come together to create a unique plan for your loved one to make sure they are living their highest quality of life. Therapy is available onsite to monitor and treat each individual so they are performing at their highest level. The entire team is here to come together for you and your loved one.

Making the decision to move a loved one out of their home can be one of the toughest decisions someone can make. No matter the circumstances, Monarch Healthcare Management is proud to offer Transitional, Long Term, and Respite care in our secured memory care support units. Stop by one of our locations for a tour and to find out how our compassionate staff can keep your loved one safe, secure, and help them live their fullest life.
