The Memory Care Support Unit is designed with the safety of the individual in mind. Entrances to the unit are secured to prevent issues commonly associated with dementia such as wandering or unsafe exit seeking. Layouts are designed with resident needs in mind, promoting a calming environment.
Staff are specialty trained in techniques such as validation, redirection, and reminiscing to make the most comfortable environment for your loved one. Nursing, Therapeutic Recreation, Social Services, and Dietary come together to create a unique plan for your loved one to make sure they are living their highest quality of life. Therapy is available onsite to monitor and treat each individual so they are performing at their highest level. The entire team is here to come together for you and your loved one.
